A HANGING BOOKCASE

 

Veliero LT takes inspiration from Franco Albini’s iconic bookcase for Cassina.

 

LT = Low Tech. Rope, pine wood and hydraulic hose clamps.

 

The product is designed to be packable. Since the structure is suspended, when it is not fixed to the ceiling it can fit into a small packaging. To “drop the anchor”, after having fixed the library to the ceiling, the user will choose four heavy objects to be fixed on the rubber bands at each eand of the four ropes (such as stones, ore books).
