Lorenzo Capparucci

Hello, I’m the Co-Founder of materieunite, a project I started in the 2019 along with a team of friends and colleagues, which pivots around the design of eco-sustainable retail spaces.

PAST

After graduating with honors at ISIA Roma Design and ISIA Design Firenze, Italy’s oldest institutions in the field of industrial and systemic design, I worked as junior designer at Studio Formafantasma in Amsterdam and as a gallery assistant at Giustini/Stagetti modern and contemporary design gallery in Rome. During my time in the gallery I had the opportunity to travel around the world, taking part in different fairs while experimenting of different cultural backgrounds.

January 2019 / present – CTO, Co-Founder and designer at materieunite (Terni, Italy).

April 2017 / July 2018 – gallery Assistant at Galleria Giustini/Stagetti (Rome, Italy).

January  2017 / April 2017 – Junior Designer at Studio Formafantasma (Amsterdam, The Netherlands).

– Design development, production, refining and assembling of Studio’s work for Cedit, Spazio Krizia ‘Foundation’ exhibition in Milano, private collector house setting up, rendering for Flos and Nude.

– General assistance, organization of the Studio’s work: scheduling, sending e-mails to clients and producers.

May 2016 – worked along with a team on the design of ‘ISIA Thinking Tool’. (conferences dedicated to the masters of the Italian design).

QUALIFICATIONS AND STUDIES

2020 – master’s degree with laude in product and system design (ISIA Firenze).
2016 – bachelor’s degree with laude in industrial design (ISIA Roma Design).
2016 – HTML & CSS course at ISIA Roma Design.
2015 / 2016 – course of polish (36 Hours) at Language System college (Rome, Italy).
2014 – course of upper-intermediate english (66 hours) at ‘LSI school’ (London, England).
2013 – scientific lyceum diploma.
